Community Capacity Building

I am pleased to announce that we have been successful in receiving a $300,000 grant through the Community Development Fund to provide a range of capacity building training programs for the Murrindindi Shire community. Through our community interviews in Stage 1 of the project, we identified a need for further training and upskilling for businesses, volunteers, community groups, youth, and community members. This training will be provided to the community over the next 12 months as we start to recruit that special someone to coordinate this program. Details of the grant can be found at the below link. Boosting Community Skills In Murrindindi | Premier of Victoria

The recruitment of a Capacity Building Programs Officer has now commenced, and this position can be found on the Murrindindi Shire Council webpage. Community Capacity Building Officer – Murrindindi Shire Council
