Community Capacity Building
Through our community interviews in Stage 1 of the project, we identified a need for further training and upskilling for businesses, volunteers, community groups, youth and other community members. Murrindindi Shire Council was successful in receiving a $300,000 grant through the Community Development Fund to provide a range of capacity building training programs for the Murrindindi Shire community. The program helps businesses, volunteers and other community members within Murrindindi Shire through a dedicated training and development program.
Through the program, businesses, volunteers and other community members are invited to participate in a range of activities, including training, workshops, mentoring, leadership programs and networking events.
